Behind the Scenes

Our Technical Services team is completely responsible for everything our guests see and experience – from the planned maintenance of the mechanics and electrics of our rides, to the plumbing of our hotels, keeping the resort clean and tidy, and all the resort-wide joinery and gardening! 

Security and Medical look after both our guests and our employees, and we have a first responder team that sees to medical emergencies around the local area too.

How about developing a traditional business career in the most unconventional business environment you can imagine?

Like most other companies, Alton Towers has Human Resources, Marketing, Health & Safety, Finance and Administrative departments. The difference is that here, you're surrounded by people having the time of their lives. From the HR office windows you can see the Skyride pass by, and you can hear the music, laughter (and screams!) from Towers Street in Finance and Marketing. Our Administration team sits in the heart of our Support office and also acts as our reception team for business and celebrity guests.

All in all, it's about as different from the average office environment as it's possible to get.
