Local Accommodation
Alton Towers Resort works with local Lettings Agency Castle Estates who will help you with your accommodation. The accommodation we can provide is in converted mill buildings in the local market town of Leek, Staffordshire, 30-45 minutes away by bus (depending on what time you catch the bus), or in other surrounding villages. Leek has numerous shops, pubs, a leisure centre and various other amenities to make you comfortable whilst you're with us.

Well Street Mill and Alexandra Mill, Leek, Staffordshire: These former textile mills have been completely renovated to offer 65 ensuite bedrooms with shared kitchen and social facillities. Each room has its own TV point and electric shower. We are planning wireless internet access if you have your own laptop. The accommodation is charged at £260 per month with a small charge for electricity.
Additional charges will be made for:
Internet usage: £10/month, £4/week, £1/24hrs
Washing machines: £2 per wash
Electricity: approx £7 per week
If you would like a larger room with a double bed and better views, the rent is £370 per month. Please note the rooms are all single occupancy only. In either case you are required to pay a deposit of £140 plus your first month's rent up front.
“Host families”: In the instances when the Mills above are full, we have arrangements with local homeowners who rent out their spare bedrooms to overseas students. The accommodation varies but includes use of bathroom facilities, washing machine and kitchen equipment. This accommodation is also charged at £65 inclusive of bills.
Accommodation can be in any of the surrounding villages but all are within (approx) 10 minutes walk of our bus routes.
